Patriarch of Wilmington's Italian Community
Immigrant enclaves are tight knit. Often you'll see a leader present who acts as the "go-to" person in the community. Delaware Online highlights the life of Father Robert Balducelli, an Italian immigrant who arrived in the US in 1946. He's considered the patriarch of Wilmington's Italian-American community, and is about to celebrate his 100th birthday.
